Medical records, retrieved and accounted for.

One request. One pull. Records and a Recap.

Expected in about 72 hours to one week (an estimate). Rush: a faster estimate, quoted by Sales. What to expect

For law firms and insurers. We check the authorization, pull the patient’s records from an electronic data network, and deliver them with a Recap: a short synopsis of the history.

Coverage: All 50 states. Access to about 2,500 electronic record sources: EHRs, health information exchanges, hospitals, labs, and pharmacies.

§01 How it works

Five steps, start to finish.

Nothing is pulled until the authorization passes review. You see the status in the portal.

  1. 01

    Request

Patient, date range, signed authorization, and the providers you know about (used only for the audit). One price per patient.

  2. 02

    Authorization check

Scope, recipient, expiration, and signature. If something is missing, we tell you what to fix.

  3. 03

    Database pull

We search an electronic data network of about 2,500 sources. We do not email, fax, or call providers.

  4. 04

    Records + Recap

All records the pull returns, with an index, plus the Recap, in the secure portal.

  5. 05

    Audit trail

Your listed providers checked against the returned records: Found in records or Not found in pull.

§02 What you get

Records, a Recap, and an audit.

  1. A

    Returned records

All records the pull returns for the patient and date range, with an index of what was returned.

  2. B

    The Recap

A concise synopsis, typically a few pages: history, medications, allergies, surgeries, labs, key encounters. Details trace to the source records. Not a medical opinion.

  3. C

    Expected vs. found

Each provider on your list is marked Found in records or Not found in pull. That is how a request is accounted for.

§06 FAQ

Short answers.

Anything else: Info@MedFilesNow.com

01How long does it take?

Records are expected in about 72 hours to one week. That is an estimate, not a guarantee. Rush is a faster estimate, quoted by Sales.

02Do you contact providers?

No. We pull from an electronic data network of about 2,500 sources. We do not email, fax, or call providers. The provider list you give us is used only for the audit.

03Will I get all of the patient’s records?

Not guaranteed. Historically, pulls return roughly the high-80s to low-90s percent of a patient’s records. Paper-chart providers and radiology images are not included.

04What is the Recap?

A concise synopsis of the patient’s history, typically a few pages, with details traceable to the source records. It is a summary, not a medical opinion or diagnosis.

05What do I need to submit?

Patient identifiers, the date range, a signed authorization, and the providers you know about. Subpoena and court-order requests go through a separate review.

06How do the price tiers work?

The tier is set by the number of pulls purchased together. The 100-pull plan is prepaid at $275 per pull ($27,500), never expires, and is non-refundable. A pull that returns no records is credited to your prepaid balance (not a cash refund).
